📋 Description

• Own the single source of truth for GRVT’s performance. You will architect and maintain a company-wide intelligence layer that stitches together Trading P&L, Marketing CAC/LTV, BD pipeline velocity, Product activation funnels, and Operations SLAs into one coherent narrative for the CEO and board.
• Build and continuously evolve a living KPI framework that cascades from company revenue targets down to every squad and individual OKR. Each metric will be traceable, time-bound, and tied to a dollar impact so teams instantly know whether they are winning or losing.
• Produce weekly “CEO Flash” and monthly “Board Pulse” reports that read like investigative journalism: headline insight, data evidence, recommended action, and expected ROI. Your storytelling will turn raw numbers into strategic decisions on budget re-allocation, feature prioritization, and partnership go/no-go calls.
• Run deep-dive analyses that uncover hidden growth levers—e.g., why a 2 bps spread change in ETH-USD perps drove a 7 % uplift in 30-day retention, or how a 3-step KYC flow cut drop-off by 18 %. Translate findings into forecast models that guide quarterly planning and capital allocation.
• Design and maintain SQL data models, ETL pipelines, and self-serve dashboards (BigQuery → Looker/Metabase) that democratize data access while enforcing data integrity. You will personally write the queries and Python/R scripts today, then hire and mentor a lean team of analyst, data engineer, and BI developer tomorrow.
• Act as strategic sparring partner to the Heads of Trading, Marketing, BD, and Product. In weekly “Data Councils” you will pressure-test assumptions, size opportunities, and co-create experiments with clear success criteria and statistical rigor.
• Build ROI engines for every dollar spent—whether that’s a $50 k trading competition, a $500 k KOL budget, or a $2 M liquidity incentive program. You will model payback periods, sensitivity to market volatility, and cannibalization risk so leadership can invest with confidence.
• Establish a culture of hypothesis-driven execution. Roll out lightweight experimentation frameworks (A/B, synthetic controls, geo holdouts) that allow teams to ship, measure, and iterate at startup speed without sacrificing statistical validity.
• Own the data governance charter: define naming conventions, source-of-truth tables, refresh SLAs, and privacy/compliance guardrails. Ensure SOC-2 readiness and seamless audit trails for investors and regulators.
• Create scenario-planning playbooks for bull, base, and bear markets. Your Monte-Carlo models will inform staffing plans, token incentive budgets, and hedging strategies so GRVT can stay agile in crypto’s 24/7 volatility.
• Influence product roadmap by quantifying the revenue impact of new features—e.g., how sub-second order latency could unlock an extra $3 M in annual volume, or why a mobile push-notification experiment could lift DAU by 12 %.
• Present to investors, board members, and strategic partners with clarity and conviction. Your decks will combine on-chain metrics, off-chain trading data, and qualitative user insights into a persuasive growth story that secures the next funding round.
• Over the next 12 months, scale the Data & Insights function from a one-person powerhouse into a high-leverage team of 3-4 specialists, each owning a pillar (Trading Analytics, Growth Analytics, Data Engineering, BI). You will still remain hands-on, but your multiplier effect will compound.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years in data analytics, strategy, or BI roles within fintech, crypto, or top-tier tech (e.g., Revolut, Binance, Stripe, Uber).
• Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python or R for data modeling and statistical analysis.
• Proven experience with BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Superset, or PowerBI; ability to build self-serve dashboards from scratch.
• Strong grasp of financial modeling, P&L analysis, and business metrics; able to connect data to revenue outcomes.
• Excellent communicator who can distill complex findings into executive-level narratives and board-ready presentations.
