- • Lead and manage a high-performing team of infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity engineers to support the PIVOT-I initiative.
- • Modernize and simplify processes and tools used to provision, deliver, manage, and monitor services through daily collaboration with engineering teams.
- • Review project plans and engineering solutions to ensure integration of the latest tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- • Educate teams on the adoption of automation practices and supporting tooling, ensuring consistent implementation across engineering workflows.
- • Work directly with government customers to identify emerging challenges and propose innovative, scalable technical solutions.
- • Identify and implement improvements to the secure build, deployment, and monitoring of endpoint devices, including lifecycle management and patching.
- • Provide guidance and oversight for the preparation, maintenance, and documentation of all engineering processes and procedures.
- • Perform continual maintenance and develop solutions for security, backup, and redundancy issues related to systems and security monitoring tools.
- • Ensure compliance with Zero-Trust Architecture principles across all engineering deliverables and operational environments.
- • Apply expertise in Microsoft O365, Azure Active Directory, and the Microsoft messaging suite to deliver end-user computing solutions.
- • Maintain familiarity with Section 508 and 504 accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and compliance testing requirements.
- • Apply understanding of NIST requirements, auditing frameworks, and governance controls to engineering operations and security practices.
- • Operate in a hybrid environment combining cloud-based and on-premises products to support in-office and remote government civilians.
- • Ensure constant connectivity, secure access, and productivity through a suite of cloud-based office tools.
- • Must be locally based in the DC metro area, with mostly remote work options available.
- • Travel is required less than 10% of the time.
- • Work a standard 40-hour week with flexibility to manage priorities across work and personal life.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS Degree and 8+ years of related experience
- • Expertise in Microsoft O365, Azure Active Directory, and the Microsoft messaging suite
- • Security+ Certification
- • Background working within Zero-Trust Architectures
- • Experience delivering end-user computing including configuration management, lifecycle management, security, monitoring, and patching
- • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain requisite security clearance
