Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full employee lifecycle for our 1.5 million-worker ecosystem: serve as the first-line advisor to employees and managers across the United States on everything from performance coaching and conflict resolution to career-pathing and disciplinary matters, ensuring every interaction is guided by empathy, compliance, and a data-driven mindset.
- • Champion fairness and legal compliance by interpreting and enforcing federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain airtight documentation and audit-ready records while translating complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance for remote-first teams that span multiple jurisdictions.
- • Drive the annual and mid-year performance cycles end-to-end: design review templates, train managers on effective feedback and goal-setting, monitor completion rates, and analyze results to surface insights that inform promotions, compensation, and succession planning.
- • Safeguard data integrity across our HRIS and adjacent systems; own the full spectrum of core transactions—onboarding, transfers, promotions, and off-boarding—while continuously refining workflows to reduce manual touchpoints and eliminate error rates.
- • Architect and run high-impact People programs that touch every Deputy employee: global engagement surveys, company-wide learning & development academies, robust onboarding journeys, and seamless off-boarding experiences that protect culture and IP.
- • Lead the AI-powered transformation of HR operations: identify repetitive tasks ripe for automation, evaluate and implement generative-AI tools, and design prompt libraries that produce compliant first drafts of job descriptions, policies, and training content—freeing the People team for strategic work.
- • Build and track program KPIs that matter—time-to-productivity for new hires, manager confidence scores, employee NPS, and diversity funnel metrics—then translate findings into board-ready narratives that influence executive decisions.
- • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, IT, and business leaders to pilot new technologies, secure budget, and ensure change-management plans land successfully in a fast-scaling, remote-first culture.
- • Serve as a culture carrier for Deputy’s mission of improving the world of work for hourly employees; infuse every process with a frontline-first mindset and amplify hourly-worker voices in leadership forums.
- • Mentor junior People team members and dotted-line HR partners, sharing best practices on automation, compliance, and stakeholder management to elevate the capability of the entire function.
- • Continuously scan the HR-tech landscape for emerging AI and automation solutions, run pilot programs, and create scalable playbooks that can be rolled out globally across Sydney, London, San Francisco, and remote hubs.
🎯 Requirements
