- • As a Principal Data Strategist at Caylent, you will embed with enterprise clients to transform how they leverage data as a strategic asset, bridging business strategy and technical execution to unlock measurable value from data investments.
- • You will lead strategic planning engagements from discovery to executive readout, diagnose and align stakeholders, build executive-ready business cases, design data governance frameworks, deliver implementation roadmaps, assess data and AI maturity, drive strategic account growth, support talent and teams, and advance Caylent’s Modern Data Strategy practice.
- • Caylent is a cloud-native AWS Premier Partner operating fully remote with teams in Canada, the U.S., and Latin America, focused on helping organizations maximize people and technology through AWS services, with a culture that values technological curiosity and employee-first principles.
- • In this role, you will shape strategic direction at the intersection of strategy, governance, and AI enablement, define how data strategy is delivered at scale, and develop reusable frameworks while working with leading enterprise clients on high-impact data transformations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in the AWS data and analytics landscape
- • 10+ years in data strategy, governance, architecture, or analytics consulting with enterprise clients
- • Proven ability to align data strategy with business outcomes and communicate the 'why' as clearly as the 'how'
- • Exceptional communicator capable of shifting between technical discussions with data architects and strategic conversations with C-suite executives
- • Deep understanding of modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS-native stack) and experience with AI/ML strategy and enterprise AI platforms (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or comparable)
- • Expert facilitator of workshops and strategy sessions with strong storytelling skills and a consulting mindset for diagnosing ambiguous data challenges
