- • Lead Platform Engineer responsible for owning the reliability and infrastructure standards that keep Fyxer’s AI Email and Meeting Assistant running at scale, ensuring zero-downtime migrations, incident resolution, and safe feature shipping.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing high-risk infrastructure migrations, diagnosing and fixing production incidents, analyzing error logs and support tickets to drive reliability improvements, building and maintaining cloud architecture and scripts, and reviewing new features with product engineers to enforce reliability before production.
- • Fyxer is a pure-play applied AI company backed by Marc Benioff, Harry Stebbings, David Singleton, and Madrona, having grown from $0 to $30M+ ARR in under 18 months after raising $10M Series A and $30M Series B. The platform team is a small, high-ownership group focused on billing, third-party integrations, uptime, and incident response.
- • The role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in TypeScript, Google Cloud, database design, and production ownership while shaping reliability standards across the product, working alongside exceptional engineers in a fast-moving, intellectually rigorous environment where learning and technical craft are deeply valued.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert-level TypeScript proficiency with ability to diagnose and fix production incidents quickly by reading and understanding code
- • Deep experience with Google Cloud or equivalent, including deployments, scripting, GitHub workflows, and architectural decision-making under constraints
- • Strong database knowledge covering design, optimization, and justification of solutions beyond basic querying
- • Proven production ownership experience: diagnosing, resolving, and preventing recurrence of incidents with calm and speed
- • Fullstack capability to design and build features alongside product engineers from a reliability perspective
- • Self-driven obsession with learning and technical craft, demonstrated by proactive problem-solving and discomfort with stagnation
