📋 Description

• Lead the creation and production of the YouTube channel Million Dollar Nurse, serving as the on-camera host for daily shorts and weekly long-form videos, totaling 3–4 hours of on-camera work per week.
• Own the end-to-end content strategy for the channel, determining which topics to cover, which angles to pursue, and which topics to exclude based on audience engagement and impact.
• Manage a team of two contractors: a scriptwriter and a video editor, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content aligned with the channel’s vision and standards.
• Collaborate with the Head of Social to analyze bi-weekly performance metrics and adjust production strategies to maximize viewer growth, retention, and engagement.
• Serve as the authentic, trusted voice of the channel, embodying a warm and mentor-like on-camera presence that resonates with nurses and caregivers across the U.S.
• Develop a deep understanding of the financial tools, tax implications, and career advancement opportunities available to American nurses, and translate this knowledge into accessible, actionable content.
• Identify and prioritize content themes that drive high engagement—such as ‘Per Diem Tax Surprises’—while deprioritizing topics with low audience relevance, like ‘How to Save as a Nurse.’
• Maintain operational discipline across production workflows, ensuring deadlines are met, feedback is incorporated efficiently, and content pipelines remain consistent and scalable.
• Act as the primary liaison between content, social, and product teams to align video strategy with broader company goals of building a community hub for healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of expanding Million Dollar Nurse into a newsletter, engaged community platform, and free resource hub modeled after The White Coat Investor.
• Stay attuned to trends in healthcare, personal finance, and digital content to continuously evolve the channel’s relevance and authority within the nursing audience.
• Foster trust with the audience by delivering honest, practical, and empathetic content that addresses real challenges nurses face outside of clinical settings.
• Ensure all content adheres to Clipboard Health’s mission of uplifting healthcare communities by empowering nurses with knowledge and financial clarity.

🎯 Requirements

• Magnetic on-camera presence with the ability to connect authentically as a warm, trustworthy mentor to nurses and caregivers
• Strong operational skills to manage contractors, deadlines, and multi-step production workflows
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to rapidly learn complex topics in personal finance, healthcare systems, and digital content strategy
• Deep empathy for and commitment to serving the nursing community with better resources than currently available
• Passion for personal finance content and existing familiarity with financial concepts relevant to American healthcare workers
• Experience managing content teams or producing video content (bonus, not required)
