📋 Description

• Lead Product Manager role at Mend.io, Inc., responsible for owning a product bet from first idea to real usage by demanding enterprise customers, driving innovation in AI-native application security.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include defining business cases, fast prototyping with AI, setting clear kill criteria, partnering tightly with Engineering on execution, integrating UX into specifications, and maintaining a transparent roadmap with no surprises.
• Mend.io is a leader in securing software from open source, custom code, and AI-generated components, creator of the first AI Native AppSec Platform, serving global enterprises with intelligent automation, deep risk visibility, and developer-first experiences.
• The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of application security in the AI era, develop founder-level ownership skills, drive revenue-impacting product decisions, and grow expertise in B2B SaaS security and AI-driven product strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with B2B focus, SaaS security products experience a plus
• Experience with large-scale, enterprise-grade platforms
• Business-case thinking: ability to tie product development to revenue and market position, not just features
• Regular use of AI in daily work and curiosity about how AI is reshaping software development and security
• Excellent English communication skills across technical, executive, and customer-facing audiences
• Sharp prioritization skills, confidence to defend decisions, and judgment to pivot based on data
