Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As a Lead Product Manager at Ravio Technologies Limited, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the product vision and strategy for our innovative compensation platform. This is a pivotal role where you will not only lead and mentor a growing team of product managers but also take direct ownership of critical product areas, embodying a true player-coach mentality. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to help companies get compensation right, fostering fairer workplaces and enabling businesses to build stronger teams through transparent and data-driven pay decisions.
  • You will be at the forefront of shaping Ravio's product direction, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Customer Success, and our Founders. This role demands a unique blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You'll be expected to set a bold vision for the product while also being willing to roll up your sleeves and drive the implementation of impactful solutions.
  • A key aspect of this role involves navigating ambiguity. In a fast-paced startup environment, perfect data is not always available. You will need to leverage your strong product intuition, comfort with uncertainty, and ability to test assumptions to make smart, data-informed bets that propel Ravio forward. Your ability to define problems, identify key metrics, and learn rapidly from outcomes will be crucial.
  • **Key Responsibilities include:**
  • **Define and Drive Product Strategy:** Take full ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring it is tightly aligned with overarching company goals and deeply rooted in understanding customer needs. This involves identifying market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and future trends in compensation technology.
  • **Lead and Grow the Product Team:** Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of product managers. You will be responsible for fostering a strong product culture, setting clear expectations, and empowering your team to deliver exceptional results. This includes mentoring junior PMs and fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  • **Build Customer-Centric Products:** Utilize a deep understanding of our customers, market dynamics, and data insights to conceptualize and deliver innovative, user-friendly, and impactful product solutions. This involves conducting user research, analyzing feedback, and translating complex requirements into actionable product plans.
  • **Deliver Measurable Outcomes:** Focus on achieving tangible business and user value rather than simply shipping features. You will set clear, measurable goals for product initiatives, rigorously track success metrics, and lead the team to achieve these outcomes, demonstrating the ROI of product investments.
  • **Foster Deep Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work seamlessly with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to ensure efficient product development and execution. Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure product launches are successful, customer adoption is high, and market feedback is integrated back into the product lifecycle.
  • **Champion Continuous Improvement:** Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and feedback within the product team and across the wider organization. This includes implementing A/B testing, post-launch analysis, and regular retrospectives to refine our processes and product.
  • **Thrive in Ambiguity and Drive Execution:** Make confident decisions with incomplete information, proactively define what needs to be measured to reduce uncertainty, and demonstrate a rapid learning cycle. You will be comfortable setting direction and then diving into the details to ensure successful execution.
  • You will thrive at Ravio if you possess a strong B2B SaaS background, ideally within a product-led growth organization that embraces modern, agile methodologies. Your experience should include successfully leading a product team (even if just one person) and delivering significant outcomes at a rapid pace. A proven track record of owning product strategy and shipping impactful products is essential. You are adept at working in ambiguous environments, making informed decisions without perfect data, validating your direction, and continuously learning. Your product intuition is sharp, you can identify what truly matters, and you know how to define and track metrics to prove results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, structure thoughts logically, and tell compelling stories, are vital. You can effortlessly transition between high-level strategic thinking and granular execution details. High self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a growth mindset are key attributes. You are deeply motivated by Ravio's mission to create fairer workplaces and better pay. Your player-coach mentality means you are equally excited by setting strategic direction and diving into the operational details. You are receptive to feedback and demonstrate coachability in your leadership approach. Finally, you are energized by the dynamic, scaling startup environment, embracing both its inherent ambiguity and its immense opportunities for growth and impact.
