đź“‹ Description
- • As a Lead Product Manager, Funds Flow & Ledger at Dave Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the financial infrastructure that underpins our mission to level the financial playing field. This pivotal role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Dave’s funds flow and ledger systems, which form the bedrock of every financial product we deliver. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that every dollar is managed with absolute accuracy, complete traceability, and meticulous care, especially as our transaction volume, revenue, and product lines continue to scale exponentially. Your work will directly influence how Dave expands responsibly, accelerates new product launches, and maintains the unwavering trust of our members as our operational scale increases manifold.
- • In this dynamic role, you will architect and own the end-to-end funds flow architecture, a critical system designed to govern the seamless movement of money across Dave, our banking partners, and various vendors. This architecture will be built to robustly support our expanding suite of new products and to accommodate a tenfold increase in transaction volume, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain sophisticated ledgering systems that meticulously and consistently record every transaction across all product lines, establishing a single, trusted source of truth for all financial activities. A key responsibility will be to define and implement a comprehensive reconciliation strategy, guaranteeing that all transactions are complete, fully auditable, and easily explainable across our internal systems and external partner integrations. You will also establish the foundational financial data infrastructure necessary to power accurate reconciliation, robust accounting practices, insightful reporting, and sophisticated downstream analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. A significant part of your contribution will involve driving automation for critical financial operations, including reconciliation processes, exception management, and cost attribution. This focus on automation aims to significantly reduce manual effort, minimize operational risks, and enhance overall efficiency. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Treasury and Risk teams to implement improvements in float management, settlement timing, and capital efficiency, optimizing our financial resources and operational workflows.
- • The systems you will lead are the silent engines powering every facet of Dave's operations. When these systems function optimally, our members benefit from faster access to their funds, our finance teams can close their books with confidence and speed, and new products can be launched without the need for fragile, temporary workarounds. Your strategic decisions will have a direct and profound impact on Dave's ability to grow responsibly and at an accelerated pace, ensuring that our financial operations are as robust and scalable as our product ambitions. You will be joining a company that is redefining the financial landscape by leveraging technology to create affordable, transparent, and user-centric access to liquidity for millions of Americans, particularly those underserved by traditional financial institutions. Dave is committed to building a new era of credit products that prioritize speed, affordability, and accessibility, solidifying its position as the premier financial partner for individuals in need.
- • In this role, you will gain unparalleled experience in managing complex financial infrastructure at scale within a rapidly growing fintech environment. You will connect member outcomes, such as speed of access and financial trust, directly to the underlying financial systems, ensuring that platform decisions are always informed by real customer impact. You will be granted meaningful autonomy over a critical component of Dave’s platform, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to influence strategic direction. This position offers a unique chance to develop deep expertise in financial systems, product strategy, and cross-functional leadership within a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the financial lives of its members. You will learn to navigate intricate technical and financial constraints, translating them into clear, actionable product roadmaps and priorities, and hone your ability to operate at a systems level, understanding the ripple effects of product decisions across various departments and customer touchpoints.
