- • Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Stacker’s GEO (AI search visibility) and earned media reporting product, starting with AI search visibility and expanding into a comprehensive content performance suite.
- • Define client-facing KPIs, measurement methodologies, and visualizations that make complex AI-driven content performance data actionable, intuitive, and provable for brands and nonprofit newsrooms.
- • Partner with Data Science to validate datasets, pressure-test reporting metrics, and co-develop rigorous methodologies for citing, tracking, and attributing earned media impact across AI search ecosystems.
- • Lead product development from concept to launch by writing clear PRDs and user stories, prioritizing initiatives, and collaborating with Engineering and Design teams through build, QA, and release cycles.
- • Conduct client-informed product discovery by monitoring feedback trends, running beta programs, and synthesizing real-world use cases to identify friction points, unmet needs, and roadmap priorities.
- • Align cross-functional stakeholders including Revenue, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership on roadmap decisions, release timelines, and strategic investments in reporting capabilities.
- • Track and analyze evolving trends in SEO, AI search, LLMs, retrieval systems, and citation dynamics to inform product direction, differentiate Stacker’s offering, and anticipate industry shifts.
- • Maintain active partnerships with third-party SEO/GEO tooling providers and industry experts to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, data sources, and competitive benchmarks.
- • Translate technical data and analytical insights into compelling client narratives that drive retention, upsell, and account growth through clear, beautifully designed dashboards and reporting experiences.
- • Continuously improve the product by iterating on client feedback, performance data, and market signals to ensure reporting tools remain relevant, accurate, and valuable to Stacker’s user base.
- • Communicate product vision and progress to internal teams and external clients with clarity, influencing decisions through data, storytelling, and strategic alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in product management, client reporting and analytics, agency SEO, or adjacent product-building roles, ideally within media, data, or marketing technology.
- • Strong familiarity with the SEO, content marketing, martech, and AI visibility (GEO) ecosystem.
- • Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Similarweb, Profound, Airops, Peec.ai, or comparable SEO/GEO platforms.
- • Understanding of how AI search works—including LLMs, retrieval systems, and citations—and how those dynamics intersect with content strategy, PR, earned media, and SEO.
- • Demonstrated success leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple teams.
- • Analytical fluency and comfort working directly with datasets using tools like Google Sheets, SQL, or BI platforms to evaluate methodologies and uncover insights.
