  • • As a Lead Product Manager at ICF Next, you will be at the forefront of championing product thinking within federal IT delivery, acting as a crucial bridge between client missions and the successful execution of Agile IT Modernizations.
  • • This senior consultant role demands versatility, allowing you to adapt your communication and leadership style to various contexts – whether you're collaborating with teammates, leading initiatives, acting as a visionary, coaching others, or engaging in business development.
  • • You will serve as a leader on federal client engagements, instrumental in shaping Agile teams and processes to ensure project success and guiding the backlog of work towards strategic objectives.
  • • Your primary function is that of a consultant first, adept at representing ICF Next’s product management playbook and services while skillfully tailoring your approach to deliver maximum value to teams and clients on a project-by-project basis.
  • • A key responsibility is to deeply understand and articulate the needs and goals of client organizations as they relate to contractual obligations and product objectives, demonstrating a strong ability to quickly grasp new programs and subject matter.
  • • You will facilitate productive collaborations with a diverse range of internal and external experts, orchestrating conversations and workshops to foster brainstorming and secure buy-in for critical decisions.
  • • Generating clear, compelling artifacts that articulate the product vision, strategy, process, target outcomes, progress, and high-level requirements for various audiences will be essential.
  • • You will embody a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) mindset, ensuring the team remains focused on essential priorities, minimizes risks, and creates the necessary space for innovation and long-term success.
  • • Effective management and planning of Agile work across multiple workstreams, balancing discovery and delivery tasks to continuously drive the backlog and deliver user value, is a core expectation.
  • • As a team player, you will leverage excellent problem-solving and consensus-building skills to cultivate an environment of creativity, collaboration, innovation, honesty, and a focus on the best ideas.
  • • You will be an active contributor to ICF's product practice, building relationships across the company, mentoring colleagues, developing and sharing best practices, supporting proposal writing, and participating in other internal initiatives that foster growth and success.
  • • In this functional role, you will lead cross-functional ICF teams in translating agency priorities into actionable plans for designing, building, and operating CMS-based websites and applications, adhering to contractual, regulatory, and service management requirements.
  • • You will split your time between two Agile development teams, actively participating in their respective Scrum ceremonies.
  • • You will partner closely with agency stakeholders, the client’s Program Management, and Strategic Advisory teams to intake, scope, and prioritize work for websites and applications, ensuring strict alignment with contract scope, task orders, and approved funding.
  • • You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for your assigned products, adeptly balancing user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and contractual commitments.
  • • You will coordinate ICF team activities throughout the entire lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support, maintaining delivery cadence and required documentation for federal programs.
  • • Utilizing data, analytics, and user research findings will be critical for informing prioritization decisions and driving continuous improvement of digital services.
  • • Ensuring that all deliveries align with the client’s service levels and processes, including required reporting, approvals, and governance checkpoints, is paramount.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within the teams you lead.
  • • You will be responsible for communicating project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • • Driving user-centric design principles and ensuring that user feedback is integrated into the product development lifecycle will be a key focus.
  • • You will contribute to the strategic direction of ICF's product management capabilities, sharing insights and lessons learned to enhance our overall service offerings.
  • • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential for success in this role.
