- • Facilitate high-quality remote and onsite professional development for 30–40 educators approximately two days per week to support implementation of Amplify STEM programs.
- • Develop and maintain deep expertise in Amplify STEM curriculum, instructional models, and implementation best practices to ensure accurate and effective educator support.
- • Coach and develop a cohort of 30–40 Professional Learning Specialists (PLS) through observations, coaching conversations, modeling, peer practice, and written and live feedback.
- • Design and implement targeted professional development plans for PLS based on observation data, customer feedback, survey results, and self-reflection.
- • Review post-session survey data regularly, especially during peak delivery seasons, to identify trends and provide actionable feedback to coaching team members.
- • Communicate key insights on individual and cohort performance, strengths, and development areas to internal stakeholders including Product and Program teams.
- • Participate in paid certification training to become a certified Professional Learning Specialist if not already certified.
- • Engage in ongoing professional learning through observation, coaching, and feedback cycles to continuously improve facilitation practice.
- • Manage session logistics and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- • Differentiate professional learning facilitation to meet the unique needs and contexts of diverse school and district partners across the U.S.
- • Partner in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new Professional Learning Specialists throughout the year.
- • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, resource development, and cross-functional collaboration to support continuous improvement of Amplify STEM products.
- • Stay current on product updates, enhancements, and implementation guidance to effectively support educators and internal teams.
- • Travel approximately 60%+ during peak season (May–September) and 20–40% during the school year, including overnight stays and transportation via car, plane, or public transit with limited advance notice.
- • Support implementation quality by sharing customer insights and feedback with internal teams to inform product and program development.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of PreK–12 teaching experience
- • At least 2 years of experience coaching educators in PreK–12 settings
- • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and demonstrated application in professional development settings
- • Deep knowledge of STEM instructional best practices aligned to grade-level standards
- • Proven ability to facilitate engaging and effective in-person and virtual professional development
- • Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams)
