đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer equipment, facilities, and infrastructure projects across the GE Vernova XD product line, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion while exceeding customer expectations and driving P&L accountability.
  • • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, finance, field services, and customer stakeholders) through the full project lifecycle—from contract award and detailed planning to installation, commissioning, and final acceptance—on small-to-medium-sized projects that may include equipment-only deliveries, integrated suites of products, or non-turnkey solutions.
  • • Translate complex technical scopes into executable project plans, schedules, risk registers, and cost baselines, leveraging advanced project-management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Lean) and GE Vernova’s digital tools to maintain real-time visibility on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety KPIs.
  • • Serve as the primary customer interface, orchestrating weekly steering committees, executive readouts, and site visits to ensure alignment on milestones, design changes, and commercial terms while proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact customer satisfaction or profitability.
  • • Directly manage, mentor, and develop a distributed team of project engineers, coordinators, and subcontractors; set clear performance expectations, conduct quarterly reviews, and create individualized development plans that build GE Vernova’s next generation of project leaders.
  • • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives by analyzing historical project data, benchmarking against industry best practices, and implementing lessons learned into standardized playbooks that reduce cycle time, lower cost of quality, and enhance safety performance across the portfolio.
  • • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and supply-chain teams to influence product roadmaps, manufacturing strategies, and sourcing decisions that improve modularity, reduce lead times, and increase the competitiveness of the XD product line in a rapidly decarbonizing energy market.
  • • Champion GE Vernova’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments by embedding sustainability metrics into project scorecards, selecting low-carbon logistics options, and ensuring that every installation contributes to the global mission of electrifying the world while reducing carbon emissions.
  • • Exercise sound judgment and autonomy to modify procedures and practices when necessary, balancing speed, cost, and quality to deliver innovative solutions that address complex manufacturing processes, interdependent production cycles, and evolving customer requirements.
  • • Act as a thought leader within the global Project Management Community of Practice, sharing success stories, contributing to knowledge repositories, and mentoring junior colleagues to elevate the overall maturity of project-management capabilities across GE Vernova.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related technical discipline (or equivalent advanced experience).
  • • 5+ years of hands-on project-management experience delivering electrical power equipment, industrial infrastructure, or energy-technology projects.
  • • Demonstrated P&L ownership and proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to customer specifications.
  • • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from plant operators to C-suite executives.
  • • Established project-management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) and proficiency with scheduling and cost-control tools (MS Project, Primavera, SAP).

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote work environment with flexible hours and a results-oriented culture.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance starting day one.
  • • Annual performance bonus tied to project delivery and customer-satisfaction metrics.
  • • Generous 401(k) with company match and additional retirement contribution.
  • • Up to 20 days PTO plus 10 company holidays and paid volunteer time for ESG initiatives.
