📋 Description

• Lead the design, governance, and strategic evolution of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business strategy.
• Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap, including modules such as HRSD, CSM, and custom applications, while establishing development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project teams, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, customization options, and integration strategies using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and APIs.
• Design and implement scalable integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems to ensure data consistency and integrity across platforms.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of ServiceNow and integrated solutions to identify and resolve bottlenecks, enhancing system efficiency and responsiveness.
• Design and enforce quality assurance plans to ensure technical deliverables meet established standards and adhere to ServiceNow best practices.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects remain within scope and timeline, providing regular updates to management and clients on project status.
• Develop and implement security plans for ServiceNow and integrated solutions, ensuring compliance with ITIL, security protocols, data governance, and federal compliance requirements.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines, and contribute to internal and client knowledge bases.
• Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives through white papers, demonstrations, and lunch-and-learns, mentoring developers, administrators, and technical consultants on ServiceNow architecture and development standards.
• Stay current with advancements in ServiceNow technology, integrated tools, and industry trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions and innovative approaches.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
• Support implementation of ServiceNow solutions with technical oversight, ensuring accurate translation of design into functional systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in the United States and complies with federal contract requirements, including obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust clearance.
• Local candidates may be expected to work at the client site in Rockville, MD, at least 1–2 days per week.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, with all work performed within the United States.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions
• 5+ years of experience architecting ServiceNow solutions
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder, authorized to work in the U.S., with all work performed in the U.S.
