- • Lead the end-to-end user experience design for one of the world’s top entertainment apps, focusing on content discovery, player motivation, and engagement design through gamification.
- • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of product designers across iOS, Android, and web platforms, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- • Develop and advocate the overarching design vision, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with JustPlay’s growth mission and player-centric goals.
- • Create user-centric designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, to elevate the entire player journey and drive retention through innovative gamified experiences.
- • Build, maintain, and evolve JustPlay’s design system and design guidelines to ensure scalable, cohesive interactions across all digital touchpoints.
- • Integrate AI-assisted design tools and workflows into the product development lifecycle to increase efficiency, improve quality, and accelerate delivery without compromising craft.
- • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate research insights, analytics, and technical constraints into actionable, high-impact design solutions.
- • Champion design-led practices across the organization, educating non-design stakeholders and establishing design as a strategic driver of business outcomes.
- • Apply platform-specific best practices (iOS, Android) to ensure seamless, high-quality interactions that meet user expectations and technical standards.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance product usability, streamline design processes, and scale team operations as the product and team grow.
- • Stay current with mobile gaming trends, advertising ecosystem developments, and emerging design technologies to inform strategic design decisions.
- • Drive measurable business results through design decisions that balance player delight with company growth objectives, ensuring every interaction contributes to retention and engagement.
- • Establish and maintain scalable design processes that support team growth, cross-functional collaboration, and rapid iteration while maintaining high standards of quality.
- • Promote a high-performing, growth-minded design team through regular mentorship, feedback, and professional development support.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years’ experience leading a mobile product design team, ideally within entertainment or gaming
- • Experience scaling or refining established design teams and processes
- • A portfolio showcasing impactful mobile design work
- • Proven expertise in gamification and user engagement
- • Expert proficiency in Figma
- • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to craft
