  • • As a Leads Generation (AI-driven), SME & Growth specialist at Airwallex, you will play a pivotal role in powering the company’s global growth engine by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-potential business leads using cutting-edge AI tools and data-driven strategies. Your work directly fuels sales pipeline health and revenue growth for a fintech unicorn serving over 200,000 global businesses, including industry leaders like Brex, Rippling, Qantas, and SHEIN.
  • • You will operate at the intersection of marketing, sales, data, and product, leveraging AI to transform raw lead data into actionable insights, ensuring the sales team receives prioritized, high-intent prospects while continuously refining models and processes to improve conversion efficiency across the lead lifecycle.
  • • Conduct systematic lead generation across multiple channels including website registrations, event lists, online forms, and third-party platforms, then structure, cleanse, and categorize leads for downstream use.
  • • Apply business firmographics (industry, company size, use case, etc.) to score and prioritize leads, creating a high-quality lead pool tailored to sales team needs and regional go-to-market strategies.
  • • Utilize and optimize internal and external AI tools—such as lead scoring models, intent detection systems, and auto-tagging engines—to improve lead identification accuracy and efficiency; collaborate with data and product teams to suggest model enhancements based on business logic and performance feedback.
  • • Monitor AI tool performance through data analysis, iteratively refining lead acquisition and scoring strategies to maximize ROI and reduce manual effort.
  • • Leverage AI-assisted writing tools to generate and personalize outreach at scale (email templates, SMS/IM copy, call scripts), improving open and response rates through intelligent personalization and tone adaptation.
  • • Design and execute AI-driven automated nurture workflows, segmenting leads by intent level and delivering timed, relevant content to increase activation and conversion rates.
  • • Run A/B tests on AI-generated content and analyze results to continuously optimize messaging effectiveness and conversion funnels.
  • • Produce regular lead funnel analytics (acquisition → outreach → activation → conversion), identify bottlenecks, and recommend data-backed process improvements to sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • • Partner cross-functionally to streamline lead handoff processes, enhance CRM data quality, and ensure seamless lead lifecycle management across systems and teams.
  • • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging AI applications in marketing and sales, translating insights into actionable optimization initiatives.
  • • Develop and maintain SOPs and playbooks for lead generation and AI tool usage; train and enable sales and marketing teams on best practices for AI-assisted outreach, lead scoring, and follow-up strategies.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline; preferred backgrounds in marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
  • • 1–3+ years of experience in sales operations, marketing operations, lead operations, or data operations, with preference for candidates from B2B, SaaS, or fintech industries.
  • • Proven experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) to assist in work tasks; bonus for involvement in model deployment or intelligent scoring projects.
  • • Strong interest and foundational understanding of AI applications in business contexts, with motivation to continuously learn and apply emerging tools and methodologies.
  • • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data organization and basic analysis; SQL experience is a plus.
  • • Excellent logical thinking and data sensitivity, with ability to detect patterns, uncover opportunities, and translate insights into executable strategies.
  • • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective cross-functional alignment with sales, marketing, product, and data teams.
