• • The Legal Cashier role at Lawhive Inc. is critical to maintaining financial integrity and compliance as the company scales its AI-native legal services platform across the UK and US, ensuring accurate handling of client money, payments, and ledger reconciliations in a high-growth, regulated environment.
• • This position directly supports Lawhive’s mission to make the law accessible by enabling trustworthy financial operations that underpin client confidence and regulatory adherence, especially as the firm processes increasing transaction volumes from a growing network of consultant solicitors and clients.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include inputting inbound payments into the ledger throughout the day to ensure perfect balance, managing and queuing payment requests for fast and accurate turnaround, updating and reconciling ledgers after every transaction to maintain spotless records, preparing and recording internal payments and refunds with meticulous documentation, responding professionally to queries from consultant solicitors regarding financial matters, and championing financial accuracy by assisting in CMA (Client Money Account) reconciliations and upholding compliant records across all financial activities.
• • The finance team at Lawhive operates as a lean, high-impact function embedded across the UK and US group structure, partnering closely with product, engineering, legal operations, HR, talent, and executive leadership to build scalable, audit-ready financial infrastructure that supports hyper-growth and international expansion following the company’s $40M Series A funding in December 2024.
