- • As a Legal Counsel at Bunch Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory by ensuring strategic alignment of legal activities with business goals, reporting directly to the General Counsel and contributing to the development of the in-house legal function in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- • You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, vendor, NDAs, and partnership contracts, while supporting general corporate matters and inter-company agreements to enable seamless business operations across jurisdictions.
- • You will assist in strategic initiatives such as market expansion and partnerships by conducting due diligence, identifying legal risks, and summarizing actionable findings for cross-functional teams to inform decision-making.
- • You will coordinate with external legal advisors on specialized or multi-jurisdictional matters, managing these engagements efficiently and on-budget to ensure high-quality legal support without unnecessary overhead.
- • You will assist in implementing and maintaining internal policies aligned with AML, risk, and compliance standards as the company scales, helping to build a robust governance framework across the bunch group.
- • You will contribute to building the foundation of the growing in-house legal department by developing playbooks, templates, and scalable legal processes that enhance efficiency and consistency.
- • You will progressively take on more responsibility in coordinating legal, regulatory, and risk matters across the organization’s various entities, enabling professional growth into a generalist in-house role.
- • You will work in close collaboration with the General Counsel, Strategy Team, and Finance Team in a flat hierarchy, gaining exposure to strategic business decisions beyond traditional legal functions.
- • You will benefit from a flexible hybrid work model (3 days/week in office), 4 remote calendar weeks per year, 28 days of vacation plus 2 company days and local public holidays, and a competitive compensation package.

🎯 Requirements
- • Completed studies in law (German Second State Exam, J.D., LL.B./LL.M. or equivalent qualification; German-law studies not required)
- • At least 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally in corporate/M&A law, preferably in a reputable law firm or sophisticated in-house environment
- • Experience with cross-border M&A, financing, or other cross-border corporate transactions
- • Strong contractual drafting and project management skills
- • Excellent written and spoken English, along with solid German language skills (native fluency not required)
- • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable with responsibility in a fast-paced, innovative environment
