- • The Legal Counsel (PBM Contracting) provides tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level, playing a critical role in ensuring compliance and enabling business operations within a purpose-driven pharmacy benefit manager.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing legal advice to internal clients on PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, and administrative functions; conducting legal research; drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements; advising on regulatory compliance and corporate policies; developing and facilitating legal training; investigating legal issues; and coordinating with in-house and outside counsel as needed.

- • In this role, the Legal Counsel will deepen expertise in healthcare law, managed care regulations, and PBM contracting; develop advanced transactional and influencing skills; build cross-functional relationships; and contribute to compliance initiatives that support ethical, compliant, and innovative pharmacy benefit solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Juris doctor degree
- • Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- • 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients
- • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
