- • Build custom AI agents, playbooks, and prompts tailored to the specific workflows and needs of Harvey’s strategic legal customers.
- • Scope and design bespoke legal technology solutions by collaborating directly with senior in-house counsel and law firm partners to map their processes and translate them into functional AI tools.
- • Prototype, test, and iterate on custom solutions in live customer environments, ensuring alignment with real-world legal workflows and outcomes.
- • Pilot new Harvey platform features prior to general release, providing critical feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real customer usage and performance.
- • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand evolving needs, gain buy-in, and support successful adoption of AI tools across legal teams.
- • Create and document reusable assets, templates, and best practices to accelerate future deployments and standardize high-impact solutions across the customer base.
- • Partner with Harvey’s Legal Engineering and Go-to-Market teams to align custom solution development with broader product strategy and customer growth objectives.
- • Travel onsite to client locations to conduct discovery sessions, facilitate workshops, and support the rollout of AI tools in person, building trust and deepening client engagement.
- • Translate complex legal requirements into clear technical specifications that guide the development and refinement of Harvey’s AI-powered legal workflows.
- • Continuously evaluate the quality and effectiveness of AI deliverables, optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and user experience in high-stakes legal environments.
- • Act as a bridge between legal professionals and engineering teams, ensuring customer feedback directly informs platform enhancements and product roadmaps.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Harvey’s platform capabilities and evolve expertise over time to deliver increasingly sophisticated and scalable AI solutions.
- • Drive measurable improvements in client productivity and legal outcomes through the deployment of AI tools designed to automate routine tasks and augment expert judgment.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Harvey’s methodology for custom solution delivery by identifying patterns, documenting lessons learned, and refining the deployment process.
🎯 Requirements
- • JD or equivalent legal qualification
- • 5+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer at a top-tier firm and/or in-house legal team
- • Strong communication skills and a track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results
- • Curiosity about testing various approaches, evaluating deliverable quality, and optimizing for customer outcomes and experience
- • Interest in driving positive change in the legal industry through AI
- • Experience using AI tools in legal practice is a plus
