  • • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Legal Engineers focused on supporting Harvey’s go-to-market efforts through legal credibility, product expertise, and consultative customer engagement.
  • • Partner directly with Account Executives and Sales leadership to support strategic accounts, develop deal strategy, and drive successful customer outcomes in litigation, regulatory, compliance, investigations, and enforcement workflows.
  • • Oversee team engagements in complex customer interactions, including conducting discovery sessions, leading product demonstrations, and advising clients on how Harvey’s AI platform improves legal workflows.
  • • Build trusted relationships with senior legal stakeholders such as General Counsel, Chief Litigation Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers, Heads of Regulatory Affairs, Deputy General Counsel, and legal operations leaders.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Applied Legal Research, Marketing, and Enablement teams to refine product positioning, customer solutions, and go-to-market strategy based on frontline feedback.
  • • Act as the voice of the customer by synthesizing insights from customer interactions to inform product roadmap decisions, feature development, and new use case identification.
  • • Help scale the Legal Engineering organization by improving internal processes, enablement materials, demo frameworks, and team best practices.
  • • Contribute to Harvey’s market presence through customer workshops, industry events, thought leadership, and speaking engagements.
  • • Operate with decisiveness, simplicity, and ownership, aligning with Harvey’s core values of acting quickly on clear judgment, prioritizing scalable simplicity, and never being satisfied with the status quo.
  • • Maintain deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, rapidly mastering Harvey’s enterprise-grade platform and integrating it into customer workflows.
  • • Apply strong commercial instincts to engage credibly with both legal and business decision-makers, translating technical capabilities into tangible business value.
  • • Demonstrate a strong point of view on the future of the legal industry and the transformative impact of AI on legal services, particularly in litigation, compliance, and regulatory domains.
  • • Ensure team members uphold the highest standards of legal credibility, customer impact, and operational excellence in all client-facing activities.
  • • Support the growth of Harvey’s customer base across 60+ countries by enabling sales teams with domain-specific legal expertise and tailored solutions.
  • • Drive continuous improvement in customer outcomes by refining engagement models, training materials, and feedback loops between Legal Engineering and Product teams.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant practice in litigation, regulatory, investigations, compliance, white-collar defense, enforcement, employment litigation, financial regulatory matters, or government investigations, with in-house experience preferred.
  • • Proven track record of managing and developing a team, with demonstrated success in talent development and performance driving.
  • • Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, and the ability to quickly learn and articulate the capabilities of Harvey’s platform.
  • • Strong understanding of the workflows, challenges, and priorities of in-house litigation, compliance, investigations, and regulatory teams.
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading trainings, workshops, demos, or other customer-facing sessions.
  • • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
