- • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Legal Engineers focused on supporting Harvey’s go-to-market efforts through customer-facing legal expertise.
- • Partner directly with Account Executives and Sales leadership to support strategic accounts, develop deal strategy, and drive successful customer outcomes in litigation, regulatory, compliance, and investigations workflows.
- • Oversee team engagement in complex customer interactions including discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and advisory consultations on how Harvey’s AI platform improves legal workflows.
- • Build trusted relationships with senior legal stakeholders such as General Counsel, Chief Litigation Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers, Heads of Regulatory Affairs, Deputy General Counsel, and legal operations leaders.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Applied Legal Research, Marketing, and Enablement teams to refine product positioning, customer solutions, and go-to-market strategy.
- • Act as the voice of the customer by synthesizing frontline feedback from legal teams to inform product roadmap decisions, feature development, and new use case identification.
- • Help scale the Legal Engineering organization by improving internal processes, enablement materials, demo frameworks, and team best practices.
- • Contribute to Harvey’s market presence through customer workshops, industry events, thought leadership, and speaking engagements.
- • Operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, rapidly developing expertise in Harvey’s enterprise-grade platform and its application to litigation, regulatory, and compliance workflows.
- • Bring a strong commercial perspective to customer engagements, aligning legal credibility with business outcomes for enterprise legal departments.
- • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills through trainings, workshops, and customer-facing sessions with both legal and non-legal audiences.
- • Maintain a strong point of view on the future of the legal industry and the transformative impact of AI on legal services delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant practice in litigation, regulatory, investigations, compliance, white-collar defense, enforcement, employment litigation, financial regulatory matters, or government investigations, with in-house experience preferred.
- • Proven track record of managing and developing a team, with demonstrated success in talent development and performance driving.
- • Deep familiarity with the workflows, challenges, and priorities of in-house litigation, compliance, investigations, and regulatory teams.
- • Strong commercial instincts and ability to engage credibly with senior legal and business stakeholders.
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience leading customer-facing trainings, workshops, or product demos.
- • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
