📋 Description

• Freelance Legal Expert role focused on analyzing high-volume, diverse contracts to enhance AI-powered legal technology systems.
• Summarize legal documents including contracts, agreements, and general meeting reports to support AI training and model accuracy.
• Identify and extract key contractual elements such as obligations, clauses, parties, durations, and termination conditions.
• Interact with and provide feedback to AI-powered chatbot systems to improve natural language understanding and response quality.
• Work on project-based assignments with flexible scheduling, tailored to individual availability and project needs.
• Contribute to the development of DiliTrust’s SaaS solutions used by 2,400 clients across 64 countries, including 80% of major publicly traded companies in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
• Apply professional proficiency in German to review, annotate, and categorize legal texts in German-language contracts.
• Follow precise annotation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in data labeling for machine learning models.
• Collaborate with international teams based in France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Mexico, and the MEA region in a multicultural environment.
• Support the company’s mission to become the first French legal tech unicorn by improving the accuracy and reliability of AI tools used by legal departments worldwide.
• Work remotely with full autonomy while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Engage in continuous learning by exploring new legal domains, industries, and technological applications within legal tech.
• Participate in team interactions through virtual meetings and feedback sessions to refine annotation processes and AI outputs.
• Maintain high attention to detail when reviewing complex legal language and ensuring no critical elements are overlooked.
• Demonstrate willingness to ask clarifying questions when instructions are ambiguous or when encountering unusual contractual structures.
• Contribute to a workplace culture certified as “Happy at Work” and “Tech at Work,” known for its positive and stimulating environment.
• Operate as an independent contractor with no expectation of long-term employment, but with potential for recurring project opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional proficiency in German
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Private Law (minimum Bac +3)
• Ability to read and analyze contracts
• Attention to detail and ability to follow clear instructions
• Passion for exploring new fields and industries
• Willingness to ask questions when instructions are unclear
