- • As a Legal Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing maintenance of numerous venture capital firms operating across the globe. This is a dynamic and critical position where you will collaborate closely with General Partners (GPs), the managers of these funds, on all aspects of their fund operations. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of a fund, from its initial formation and legal structuring to its day-to-day governance and adherence to regulatory compliance.
- • You will be instrumental in guiding GPs through the complex process of fund establishment, ensuring all legal documentation is meticulously prepared, reviewed, and executed. This includes drafting and managing fund formation documents such as Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Private Placement Memoranda (PPMs), Subscription Agreements, and other ancillary legal agreements. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring these documents meet the specific needs of each fund and comply with relevant jurisdictional laws and regulations.
- • Beyond formation, your role will extend to overseeing the operational aspects of fund governance. This involves assisting GPs with ongoing compliance requirements, including regulatory filings, investor reporting, and maintaining corporate records. You will help establish and manage robust internal processes and controls to ensure the smooth and compliant operation of each venture capital firm.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve leveraging your understanding of legal fund operations to identify and implement best practices. You will work to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational risks for the funds we support. This may include developing standardized templates, implementing new technologies, and providing training to GPs on operational best practices.
- • You will act as a key point of contact for GPs, providing clear, concise, and timely support on a wide range of legal and operational queries. Building strong relationships with our clients will be essential, fostering trust and ensuring their satisfaction with Decile Group's services.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a legal operations role, with a strong understanding of legal documentation and processes.
- • Demonstrated experience performing legal work under the direct supervision of an attorney.
- • Familiarity with fund formation documents (e.g., LPAs, PPMs, Subscription Agreements) and general corporate governance principles.
- • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
- • Must be based in the U.S.
