• • **Key Responsibilities and Impact:**
• • **Own Entity Compliance:** You will serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring the "Good Standing" of all our corporate entities across the United States and Canada. This includes independently managing all necessary reports, filings, and responding to state-specific requests, ensuring our corporate structure remains compliant and robust.
• • **Protect the Brand:** Take charge of monitoring our intellectual property landscape, proactively identifying and addressing any infringements. You will be responsible for drafting and initiating cease-and-desist workflows, safeguarding Jerry's brand reputation and proprietary assets.
• • **Investigate & Educate:** Act as the first line of defense for complex consumer escalations. Your role will involve in-depth investigation into the root causes of issues, proposing strategic solutions, and spearheading the development and implementation of compliance training initiatives to enhance the knowledge and practices of our entire workforce.
• • **Drive Product & Process Improvements:** Critically review our products and internal processes from a compliance perspective. When user friction or potential compliance risks are identified, you will collaborate directly with our Engineering and Product teams to design and implement systemic improvements that enhance both user experience and regulatory adherence.
• • **Run Tight Audits:** Lead and execute comprehensive compliance audits across various operational areas. You will proactively monitor key risk areas, ensuring our practices not only meet but exceed baseline regulatory standards, aiming to set an industry benchmark for operational excellence and legal compliance.
• • **Automate Everything:** Leverage AI and low-code tools to transform manual, time-consuming legal tasks into efficient, scalable workflows. Your primary objective will be to build and implement systems that automate repetitive processes, freeing up valuable resources and increasing operational efficiency.
• • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with legal, product, engineering, and operations teams to integrate legal and compliance considerations into the product development lifecycle and day-to-day operations.
