- • As Legal Operations Manager at MoonPay, you will play a pivotal role in scaling and optimizing the legal function to support the company’s rapid global expansion in the decentralized finance space, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment across jurisdictions.
- • You will design, implement, and continuously improve legal processes, systems, and workflows to enhance the effectiveness of the legal team, reduce operational friction, and enable faster, more compliant product launches in a highly regulated industry.
- • You will manage legal technology tools (including contract lifecycle management, e-billing, and matter management systems), oversee vendor relationships with external counsel, and drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high standards of legal service delivery.
- • You will partner closely with cross-functional teams — including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and People — to embed legal considerations into product development lifecycles, ensuring regulatory requirements are met without stifling innovation.
- • You will develop and maintain legal department metrics, reporting dashboards, and knowledge management systems to improve transparency, support data-driven decision-making, and demonstrate the legal team’s impact on business objectives.
- • You will support the onboarding, training, and enablement of legal and non-legal staff on legal processes, policies, and tools, fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence across the organization.
- • You will contribute to the development and refinement of internal policies, standard operating procedures, and playbooks related to data privacy, intellectual property, regulatory engagements, and corporate governance.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; paralegal certification or equivalent legal operations experience is highly preferred.
- • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, law firm management, or in-house legal support within a regulated industry such as fintech, payments, or technology.
- • Proven experience managing legal technology platforms (e.g., ContractWorks, Ironclad, DocuSign, ServeNow, or similar CLM, e-billing, or matter management systems).
- • Strong understanding of legal processes including contract lifecycle management, outside counsel management, legal spend tracking, and compliance workflows.
- • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
