📋 Description
- • Design, implement, and operate the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including configuring playbooks, automating workflows, and delivering user training to legal, procurement, and business teams
- • Manage the centralized contract repository to ensure all agreements are accurately tracked, version-controlled, and flagged for renewal or expiration with timely alerts
- • Develop, maintain, and standardize contract templates, pre-approved clause libraries, and negotiation guidelines for commercial agreements to reduce legal review time and enforce compliance
- • Oversee the selection, onboarding, and management of outside legal counsel, including issuing RFPs, negotiating rates, enforcing billing guidelines, and reviewing invoices for accuracy and adherence to policies
- • Build and maintain dynamic reporting dashboards to monitor key legal metrics such as legal spend, contract cycle times, pending matters, and risk exposure across business units
- • Administer and optimize legal technology stack including CLM, e-signature, matter management, and document management platforms to improve team efficiency and data integrity
- • Collaborate with the Procurement team to integrate contract execution workflows, automate approval routing, and enforce compliance during vendor onboarding and contract signing
- • Lead Legal team projects including process improvement initiatives, compliance program rollouts, and policy updates aligned with business growth and regulatory requirements
- • Partner with IT and Security teams to ensure data governance, contract data accuracy, and seamless systems integration between CLM, ERP, and other enterprise platforms
- • Manage relationships with legal technology vendors, evaluate new tools for adoption, and drive cost-effective technology investments that enhance Legal team productivity
- • Support cross-functional stakeholders in understanding contract risk, compliance obligations, and standard commercial terms to enable faster business decision-making without increasing legal exposure
- • Maintain awareness of evolving legal tech trends and benchmark industry best practices to continuously improve operational efficiency and scalability of the Legal function
- • Ensure all legal operations activities comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws and Vultr’s Data Protection policies, including alignment with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where relevant
- • Contribute to the company’s commitment to inclusion by supporting equitable processes and documenting transparent, auditable workflows accessible to all stakeholders
