📋 Description
- • Administers Windows development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration, and OS hardening.
- • Diagnoses and resolves complex Windows OS, Active Directory, and server connectivity issues through advanced troubleshooting.
- • Performs daily monitoring of Windows systems, services, and performance metrics, initiating proactive remediation to prevent outages.
- • Installs, removes, and upgrades Windows-based software packages and agents across server environments.
- • Owns Level 2 Windows-related incident tickets from assignment through resolution, including root cause analysis and documentation.
- • Provides system evaluation reports and contributes operational recommendations to improve Windows environment stability and performance.
- • Updates and maintains accurate system records, ensures licensing compliance, and manages configuration data for all Windows assets.
- • Creates and maintains runbooks and how-to guides for Windows procedures and trains Level 1 analysts on standardized operational workflows.
- • Supports 24×7 operations with a scheduled shift of 3pm - 12am, including participation in rotating on-call duties.
- • Ensures adherence to U.S. export control regulations by maintaining eligibility for required government authorizations for access to controlled commodities and technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination
- • Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration
- • Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts
- • U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
- • May hold Linux credentials if permitted
- • Shift: 3pm - 12am
