Full Job Description
đ Description
- ⢠As a Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist at Fort Health Inc., you will be a vital frontline clinician delivering evidence-based virtual therapy to children, teens, and families across New Jersey, directly addressing the critical gap in youth mental health access where 50% of U.S. children currently go without care. Your role is central to Fort Healthâs mission of expanding pathways to better care through a technology-enabled, collaborative clinical model that combines digital tools with expert virtual clinicians to create scalable, compassionate support.
- ⢠You will deliver high-quality, individualized therapy sessions via Fort Healthâs secure virtual care platform, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, and DBT to support emotional and behavioral wellness in young clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include building trusting therapeutic relationships, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the custom EMR system, actively participating in case consultations and peer learning forums, and coordinating with care managers, psychiatrists, and clinical leaders to ensure holistic, patient-centered treatment plans.
- ⢠You will manage your clinical schedule in alignment with Fort Healthâs scheduling protocols, ensuring consistent availability during peak hours (weekdays 3:30pmâ8:30pm and/or weekends as needed) to meet patient demand, while leveraging dedicated administrative support for credentialing, billing, claims, and between-session coordination so you can focus exclusively on clinical care.
- ⢠You will contribute to a growth-oriented, inclusive community of therapists by engaging in ongoing clinical supervision, sharing insights during peer consultations, and applying data-informed feedback from Fort Healthâs internal tools to refine your practice and enhance clinical outcomes over time.
- ⢠You will benefit from Fort Healthâs investment in clinician success, including access to cutting-edge, therapist-friendly technology designed in-house to reduce documentation burden, streamline communication, and improve session efficiencyâallowing you to spend more time in therapeutic engagement and less on administrative tasks.
- ⢠You will have the opportunity to grow your professional impact and clinical expertise through structured training, mentorship from in-house psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, and exposure to a multidisciplinary team committed to advancing youth mental health innovationâpositioning you at the forefront of scalable, accessible care delivery.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist (PhD, PsyD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC in the state of New Jersey; multiple state licenses are considered a strong asset.
- ⢠Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families, with demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- ⢠Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, including documented success in delivering high-quality care via telehealth platforms.
- ⢠Proficiency in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically Upheal, as well as Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Calendar) for clinical documentation, scheduling, and team collaboration.
- ⢠Genuine passion for sustaining long-term therapeutic relationships and managing a stable patient panel, with commitment to providing consistent, direct clinical care over the foreseeable future.
- ⢠Availability to conduct sessions during weekday evenings (3:30pmâ8:30pm) and/or weekends as required to meet patient scheduling needs and maintain clinical continuity.
đď¸ Benefits
- ⢠Flexible part-time W2 employment with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week (including 12 hours of direct clinical care), supported by an incentive pay model that allows earnings to scale with increased clinical deliveryâe.g., 15 hours/week yields ~$50,350 annually, 25 hours/week yields ~$84,850, and 28 hours/week yields ~$95,200.
- ⢠Comprehensive administrative support including full handling of credentialing, billing, insurance claims, and front-desk coordination by dedicated care management teams, eliminating non-clinical burdens and enabling full focus on patient care.
- ⢠Access to Fort Healthâs proprietary, therapist-friendly EMR and digital tools, custom-built to streamline scheduling, documentation, and patient communication, reducing screen time and increasing therapeutic presence.
- ⢠Provided malpractice insurance coverage, eligibility for paid time off (PTO) and company-recognized holidays, and access to in-house psychiatric consultation via psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners for integrated care support.
- ⢠Opportunities for ongoing professional development through regular clinical supervision, peer case consultations, and training sessions designed to strengthen therapeutic skills and promote evidence-based practice growth.
- ⢠A mission-driven, collaborative culture rooted in equity and inclusion, where therapists are empowered to innovate, contribute to community learning, and make measurable impact in expanding access to youth mental health care.
