- • As a Lifecycle Specialist, Contract Management - APAC, you will ensure that all contract-related activities for Remote’s external employees and clients are performed with a focus on legal compliance and superior employee experience without compromising speed, playing a critical role in enabling compliant global employment.
- • Day to day, you will serve as custodian of employment terms and agreements, draft and administer employee lifecycle documents, advise on employment legislation, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions), manage critical initiatives impacting employees across multiple countries, develop and update global internal documentation on Contracts Management, identify process improvement and automation opportunities, and safely manage employee data and confidential information.
- • You will join the Employee Lifecycle team within Remote, a fully remote company operating across 6 continents, dedicated to making global employment compliant and accessible through innovation, automation, and AI, with a culture rooted in asynchronous work, inclusivity, and employee growth.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global employment law, contract lifecycle management, and cross-border HR operations, while developing skills in process optimization, stakeholder coordination, data integrity, and asynchronous collaboration, positioning you for growth within Remote’s Total Rewards and People Enablement functions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance, including providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
- • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations to positive outcomes while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
- • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level; additional languages considered a plus.
- • Aptitude and enthusiasm for innovating and optimizing processes, including identifying and implementing automation opportunities and promoting best practices.
- • Tech-savviness with the ability to collaborate asynchronously on tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite, and adapt to new and evolving systems.
- • Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project management tools including Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
