📋 Description

• Translate content between English and native Dutch while preserving cultural nuance, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
• Edit and refine translated content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to current language standards and usage trends.
• Apply precise terminology and reference materials to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
• Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve the quality of AI-driven language models.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize digital tools, applications, and marketing content for Dutch-speaking markets.
• Perform transcreation when required, creatively adapting source text to ensure natural, culturally appropriate resonance in Dutch.
• Support end-to-end content localization and quality assurance processes for enterprise-grade AI and language technology products.
• Work independently on diverse projects spanning industries such as technology, government, and enterprise software.
• Maintain reliable availability to accept and complete translation tasks with consistent quality and on-time delivery.
• Commit to a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week to remain active in the translation pool.
• Operate as an independent contractor with full autonomy over work schedule, workload, and project selection.
• Contribute to global initiatives that advance human-machine communication through human-verified, AI-enhanced translation services.
• Engage with a global community of linguists and language professionals to expand expertise across domains and project types.
• Access diverse, innovative projects that enhance professional portfolio and sharpen linguistic skills in evolving digital contexts.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Dutch
• Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
• Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
• Reliable availability to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
