- • Audit and evaluate the quality of AI-generated conversations in Simplified Chinese between two distinct AI models using predefined quality dimensions.
- • Assess conversational outputs for accuracy, fluency, cultural appropriateness, coherence, and adherence to linguistic norms in Simplified Chinese.
- • Apply professional linguistic expertise or academic training in translation to identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in AI-generated dialogue.
- • Provide detailed, structured feedback on each evaluated conversation to guide iterative improvements in AI model performance.
- • Follow standardized evaluation protocols and scoring rubrics provided by the project team to ensure consistency and reliability in assessments.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your own schedule within a part-time commitment of 10+ hours per week.
- • Complete evaluations at any time of day or night, with full flexibility to choose when to work based on personal availability.
- • Contribute to a cutting-edge initiative shaping the future of conversational AI by directly influencing the quality of human-AI interactions.
- • Maintain high standards of linguistic precision and attention to detail across all assigned tasks.
- • Ensure all evaluations are submitted accurately and on time according to project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- • Participate in occasional brief training sessions or updates to stay aligned with evolving evaluation criteria or project goals.
- • Serve as a key contributor to improving the reliability and naturalness of AI chatbot responses for Simplified Chinese-speaking users.
- • Be eligible for future opportunities to join a vetted pool of linguists for similar high-impact AI evaluation projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional linguist or holder of an academic degree in translation
- • Native or near-native proficiency in Simplified Chinese
- • Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate linguistic quality in conversational contexts
- • Reliable internet access and ability to work independently on a remote freelance basis
- • Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high-quality output
