- • As a Loan Officer Assistant at CrossCountry Mortgage, you will play a vital role in supporting mortgage loan officers to increase loan production and ensure a seamless, positive experience for customers throughout the loan process. Your work directly contributes to timely loan closings and helps maintain the company’s reputation for excellence in service and operational efficiency across all 50 states.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing mortgage loan applications and supporting documentation, preparing and delivering rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages to borrowers, and meticulously examining loan files to identify deficiencies and prevent processing delays. You will communicate with customers via phone and email to clarify or correct information, obtain missing documents, and ensure all required paperwork is collected and tracked.
- • You will provide general clerical and administrative support to loan officers and processors, including printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents, while assisting in managing a diverse loan pipeline that includes conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
- • Collaboration is key: you will work closely with title companies to schedule closings, follow up with borrowers to secure outstanding items, and partner with management to support various stages of lending and processing as business needs evolve.

🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational background.
- • Minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience with direct customer contact.
- • Excellent communication, customer service, prioritization, and time management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
