📋 Description
- • Analyze and document existing Microsoft Access applications including tables, forms, queries, reports, and VBA code to support migration to Mendix.
- • Design and develop scalable low-code applications using the Mendix platform, incorporating both low-code and pro-code components.
- • Translate legacy VBA logic into Mendix microflows, nanoflows, and custom Java actions to ensure functional continuity during migration.
- • Develop and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake data warehouse to extract, transform, and load data for reporting and analytics.
- • Design and align data models with existing Snowflake schemas to maintain data integrity and performance.
- • Build, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards connected to Snowflake and/or Mendix data sources.
- • Convert legacy static reports into modern, dynamic, and user-friendly Power BI dashboards aligned with stakeholder needs.
- • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analysts to gather, validate, and prioritize application and reporting requirements.
- • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot post-go-live issues, and implement enhancements based on user feedback.
- • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and system specifications.
- • Adhere to enterprise security protocols, SDLC standards, and governance policies for all application development and data integrations.
- • Ensure applications and integrations meet performance, scalability, and security best practices across the Mendix platform.
- • Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST APIs and authentication mechanisms to enable seamless data flow.
- • Work within the Logistics Reporting and Analytics team to deliver tools supporting US Logistics, Inventory Audit, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
- • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to modernize legacy systems and improve data accuracy and timeliness for internal customers.
- • Document and track change requests, enhancements, and system updates to ensure auditability and compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in computer science
- • Minimum 2 years of hands-on application development experience
- • Strong experience with Mendix low-code platform
- • Pro-code experience using Java within Mendix
- • Strong SQL expertise with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- • Solid experience with Microsoft Access (tables, queries, forms, reports)
