Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Build and deploy machine learning models to identify missing clinical data, predict treatment delays, triage high-risk patient referrals, and score payer-patient friction points in the infusion care journey.
- • Architect and maintain LLM-powered workflows using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector search technologies such as Pinecone or FAISS to enhance decision-making in clinical and operational workflows.
- • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, clean, label, and store structured and unstructured data from disparate systems including EMR/EHR, insurance claims, and patient intake forms.
- • Implement model monitoring systems to track performance metrics over time, detect drift, and initiate retraining cycles to ensure accuracy and reliability in production environments.
- • Establish data labeling workflows and feedback loops to continuously improve model performance using clinician and operational team inputs.
- • Integrate machine learning models into product and operational workflows in collaboration with product, engineering, and clinical operations teams to automate manual processes and reduce administrative burden.
- • Work extensively with unstructured data sources including scanned documents, forms, and clinical notes using OCR and NLP techniques for form and document understanding.
- • Ensure all AI systems comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, when handling patient data and building patient- or payer-facing AI solutions.
- • Leverage cloud infrastructure (AWS) to deploy, scale, and manage ML models and data pipelines with basic DevOps practices including version control via Git.
- • Partner cross-functionally to identify high-leverage automation opportunities that accelerate patient access to infusion therapy and improve outcomes for clinicians, health plans, and pharma partners.
- • Translate business problems in specialty infusion care into technical ML solutions that directly impact patient care speed, clinical efficiency, and system-wide cost reduction.
- • Maintain documentation of model architecture, data sources, performance benchmarks, and compliance controls to support audit readiness and team scalability.
- • Stay current with advancements in applied AI, healthcare data standards (HL7/FHIR), and regulatory frameworks to ensure the platform remains at the forefront of innovation in infusion care technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years in ML engineering, data science, or applied AI roles (bonus for healthcare experience)
- • Proficient in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, LangChain, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL
- • Strong experience building and deploying models in production environments
- • Familiar with LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector search (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS)
- • Skilled in working with unstructured data: OCR, NLP, form/document understanding
- • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Git, and basic DevOps practices
- • Working with healthcare data (EMR/EHR, insurance claims, HL7/FHIR)
- • Building patient or payer-facing AI solutions in regulated environments (HIPAA)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Medical, dental, and vision insurance through our employer plan
- • Short and long-term disability coverage
- • 401(k) — with company matching
- • 15 Days PTO — and we want you to take it!
- • Competitive paid parental leave and flexible return to work policy
- • Professional development opportunities to grow with the company’s evolving needs
