📋 Description

• Administer and maintain mainframe systems using ISPF, Control M (Ops level), dataset handling, DB2 tables, TSO utilities, and JCL for mission-critical client environments.
• Manage distributed systems including Unix and Windows administration, WebSphere JVM, Citrix, and MQ infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 environments, including configuration, patching, and security compliance.
• Operate and monitor VMware ESX virtualization platforms to support scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Prioritize and resolve technical tickets from a queue, coordinating directly with technicians to deliver timely solutions to enterprise clients.
• Ensure systems meet security compliance standards and proactively identify potential operational risks across hybrid mainframe and distributed platforms.
• Work within a 2 pm to 11 pm shift schedule to support global client operations and maintain continuous system uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to recommend modernization opportunities and improve system efficiency.
• Provide day-to-day system administration support across diverse industries including banking, retail, and other enterprise sectors.
• Participate in client-facing activities by translating technical needs into actionable solutions and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives and support the transition from manual processes to scalable, code-based infrastructure practices.
• Engage in vulnerability management activities to identify, assess, and remediate security exposures across systems.
• Utilize Microsoft Active Directory and federation services to manage user access, authentication, and identity governance where applicable.
• Maintain fluent English communication skills to effectively document, report, and collaborate with global teams and clients.
• Continuously develop technical expertise through access to certifications on Microsoft, Google, and Amazon platforms, as well as hands-on learning opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Mainframe ISPF, Control M (Ops level), dataset handling, DB2 tables, TSO utilities, and JCL
• Experience with Distributed Systems: Unix and Windows Administration, WebSphere JVM, Citrix, and MQ
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and management
• VMware ESX virtualization experience
• Fluency in English
• Availability to work 2 pm to 11 pm shift
• Bachelor’s degree
