📋 Description

• • Serve as the senior technical resource and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SouthState Bank’s Newgen application, including overseeing work prioritization and delegation to junior team members.
• • Administer, configure, and maintain the Newgen application to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability for business operations in a banking environment.
• • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues promptly to meet service-level agreement (SLA) goals and minimize operational disruptions.
• • Lead integration efforts between the Newgen platform and internal/external APIs, including third-party services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for API endpoints, usage protocols, system configurations, and technical specifications.
• • Perform system analysis on functional and configuration requirements to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet end-user needs and business objectives.
• • Lead the planning, testing, and deployment of software updates, patches, and enhancements in alignment with the Bank’s Change Management practices.
• • Ensure all software releases and configuration changes are thoroughly tested, documented, approved, and implemented according to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• • Conduct business workflow analysis to identify efficiency opportunities and implement technology improvements in lending and credit operations.
• • Collaborate with IT Governance teams to support routine audits, security assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• • Plan and execute thorough application testing to validate functionality, performance, and security prior to production deployment.
• • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business and IT teams to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the Newgen platform.
• • Maintain detailed documentation of all system changes, user manuals, incident remediation steps, and technical procedures.
• • Respond to after-hours and weekend support requests as needed to ensure continuous system availability.
• • Work closely with senior management to escalate critical issues and align technical initiatives with strategic business goals.
• • Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balancing BAU requests, project work, and incident resolution with precision and accountability.
• • Utilize ServiceNow or similar systems to manage support requests and track incident resolution workflows.
• • Leverage advanced Microsoft Visio skills to diagram system architectures and process flows.
• • Maintain compliance with all required annual training, including compliance and security protocols specific to the financial services industry.
