📋 Description
- • Provide global administration and technical support for core Active Directory services including replication, forest and domain trusts, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
- • Configure, maintain, and support Windows-based servers for internal and external customers, with focus on Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- • Install, configure, and manage hardware, operating systems, and applications across a large-scale Windows server environment (50+ servers).
- • Administer user accounts, printer configurations, security policies, system backups, and recovery procedures.
- • Analyze and document infrastructure to develop monitoring strategies for in-house applications, inter-process communications, messaging, middleware, and collaborative software.
- • Participate in resolving customer change requests and problem tickets outside standard business hours, including after-hours and weekend support.
- • Perform 24x7 on-call duties with pager response as part of a rotational schedule.
- • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft operating systems and technologies alongside third-party applications such as Citrix Server or VMware ESX Server.
- • Support network infrastructure applications including messaging, database, intranet, internet communications, and operating system administration.
- • Configure and troubleshoot server-class hardware, with preference for HP C-Class blade systems and related technologies.
- • Utilize PowerShell and .NET for automation and system management tasks.
- • Apply IT Infrastructure Management Frameworks such as ITIL and Microsoft Operations Framework to optimize service delivery.
- • Implement monitoring methodologies and technologies to ensure system availability and performance.
- • Develop hardware and software cost of ownership models and present findings to management.
- • Identify root causes of system issues through a consistent, layer-by-layer logical approach.
- • Anticipate potential system failures and create contingency plans to mitigate risk.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects and daily operational responsibilities with high accuracy and efficiency.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly in written and spoken English to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate knowledge of hardware/software architecture and implement solutions aligned with company needs.
