• • The Malware Processing Team operates on a dynamic on-call/shift rotation to ensure continuous, 24/7 global coverage. While this role focuses on local daytime hours without night shifts, candidates must be adaptable and comfortable with a rotating schedule. This includes working five days a week during your local daytime, with the understanding that your two days off may not always fall on the traditional weekend. Regular participation in a daily team sync at 3:00 PM CET is essential for seamless collaboration and operational alignment.
• • Your core responsibilities will revolve around the in-depth analysis of a wide array of malware specifically targeting web hosting servers. This includes, but is not limited to, insidious PHP backdoors designed to compromise server integrity, malicious JavaScript injections aimed at exploiting user browsers or manipulating website content, sophisticated SEO spam techniques to manipulate search engine rankings, and deceptive redirectors designed to lead users to fraudulent or harmful sites.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve performing advanced reverse engineering on heavily obfuscated and packed malicious code. You will meticulously dissect these complex payloads to uncover their true logic, identify their origin, and understand their ultimate objectives, providing crucial intelligence for our defense mechanisms.
• • You will be tasked with creating and refining high-performance detection signatures. Leveraging your expertise in complex PCRE (Regular Expressions), you will develop precise and efficient rules designed to proactively identify and neutralize threats. A key focus will be on minimizing false positives, ensuring the integrity of legitimate web traffic and services.
• • Continuous research into emerging attack techniques is paramount. You will stay ahead of the curve by investigating new threats targeting popular Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, as well as their associated plugins and themes, which represent a significant attack surface.

You will meticulously assess how a particular piece of malware might affect website functionality and data integrity, ensuring that our cleanup and mitigation processes do not inadvertently break websites or cause data loss for our clients.
