- • As a Managed Services Engineer - Network at SHI International Corp., you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures for clients across hybrid environments, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable solutions.
- • Day to day, you will design and deploy network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls (including VM Series in Azure), Aruba switching and wireless, and Fortinet security appliances; manage ExpressRoute and MegaPort connectivity; monitor performance and security via LogicMonitor; troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi issues; maintain documentation; and participate in on-call rotations for incident escalation.
- • You will join SHI’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) support team, part of a $16B global IT solutions provider with over 17,000 clients and 7,000 employees, known for its minority- and woman-owned leadership, commitment to diversity, and investment in employee growth and well-being.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise and cloud networking, gain hands-on experience with leading security and hybrid connectivity platforms, contribute to high-impact client projects, and develop leadership and technical mastery through continuous learning and on-the-job challenges.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert-level hands-on experience with Aruba networking solutions, including switching, routing, SD-WAN, security, and management dashboards
- • Strong experience deploying and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls (including Panorama and VM Series in Azure)
- • Experience administering Fortinet security appliances, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
- • Proficiency with Aruba wireless solutions, including implementation and management of AI-driven wireless networks
- • Experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting ExpressRoute and/or MegaPort hybrid cloud connectivity
- • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation
- • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers, wireless controllers, and firewalls
- • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, PRTG, Meraki Dashboard, or similar platforms
- • Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
- • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role within an MSP or enterprise environment
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- • Participation in a rotating on-call schedule
- • Must successfully pass a CJIS background check upon hire and annually thereafter
