- • Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap creation to full-scale rollout, automating over 50k monthly chats and >70% of inbound sales and service requests.
- • Partner with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy in LLM-driven systems.
- • Serve as the technical translator between engineering and cross-functional teams, establishing AI best practices and platform-wide standards for scalability and reliability.
- • Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and data-backed iteration.
- • Collaborate directly with OpenAI partners to evaluate, integrate, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities into the ChatGPT App.
- • Own the strategic direction of AI agents and internal APIs that power Jerry’s super app, transforming fragmented car ownership processes into a seamless, automated experience.
- • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across product, operations, and customer success teams.
- • Build and scale production-grade AI systems that handle high-volume, real-time customer interactions while maintaining compliance, safety, and performance benchmarks.
- • Implement data-driven decision-making using SQL to analyze system performance, validate hypotheses, and identify opportunities for optimization in automation workflows.
- • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by staying ahead of LLM advancements, reading model release notes, and prototyping custom AI workflows before they enter mainstream adoption.
- • Define and enforce platform standards for AI system architecture, API design, and human-in-the-loop feedback mechanisms to ensure consistency and quality across all customer touchpoints.
- • Lead initiatives that reduce manual intervention in car ownership services—spanning insurance, financing, maintenance, and safety—by expanding the scope and capability of AI agents.
- • Work within a fast-paced startup environment to rapidly prototype, test, and deploy AI solutions that directly impact millions of users and a $2T industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
- • Proven interest in and hands-on experience with modern LLM systems
- • Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example in implementing AI platform standards
- • A track record of turning complex, strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- • Familiarity with SQL and comfort using data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
- • Systems thinker comfortable with API design and system architecture discussions
