  • • Embed within one of Jerry’s core business units — Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships — to own the analytical function end-to-end for that domain.
  • • Define the right business questions before initiating analysis, pushing back on flawed or misaligned questions to ensure focus on high-impact decisions.
  • • Design, build, and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports using SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, and Jupyter Hub to track and improve key business outcomes.
  • • Conduct independent data extraction, structuring, and interpretation to surface actionable insights that directly influence product, growth, or operational decisions.
  • • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure impact on critical metrics, translating results into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams.
  • • Drive outcomes by presenting findings directly to product, growth, finance, or operations leaders, influencing decisions with clear, persuasive communication and data-backed reasoning.
  • • Own the execution of initiatives beyond analysis — from insight generation through implementation, ensuring analytical work translates into tangible business results.
  • • Operate as a first-principles problem solver: break down ambiguous, complex problems into clear hypotheses before touching data, prioritizing understanding over speed.
  • • Act as an owner: take responsibility for fixing issues even if they fall outside your formal scope, with no tolerance for bureaucratic delays or passive waiting for approvals.
  • • Eliminate corporate fluff: focus exclusively on work that materially changes business trajectory — no slides, no unnecessary meetings, no redundant reporting.
  • • Collaborate with embedded team members across product, engineering, and operations to align analytical priorities with business goals and ensure data drives decision-making at all levels.
  • • Contribute to scaling Jerry from 5M to 50M customers by identifying and enabling high-leverage opportunities in new verticals including home, motorcycle, and RV ownership.
  • • Maintain a direct, precise communication style: write and speak clearly, avoid jargon, and never bury the lede — ensure stakeholders immediately understand the insight and recommended action.
  • • Work in a high-autonomy environment where every team member owns a critical domain, with no layers of approval or corporate bureaucracy slowing progress.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
  • • Strong analytical skills with ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data using SQL, Excel, or Python
  • • Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable business impact
  • • Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
  • • First-principles thinking mindset: prioritize defining the right question before analyzing data
  • • Hands-on execution orientation — not a pure strategy or reporting role, but one that drives initiatives to completion
