📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four data analysts embedded across three top Roblox games: Brookhaven, Driving Empire, and NFL Universe Football, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
• Own the centralized analytics roadmap for tooling, instrumentation, automation, and enablement priorities across the entire game portfolio.
• Partner with product managers and analysts from each game team to maintain a prioritized backlog of analytics work aligned with their product roadmaps.
• Establish and enforce high standards for analytical methodology, including governance of A/B testing, telemetry design, and data storytelling practices.
• Identify and drive initiatives to automate recurring reporting, enhance self-serve data access, and integrate AI tooling to increase team efficiency and output quality.
• Ensure all analytical outputs are clear, decision-oriented, and trusted by game leads and executive leadership.
• Build and maintain systems for knowledge sharing across the analytics team, including regular analysis reviews, shared documentation, reusable templates, cross-game learnings, and structured opportunities for analysts to present their work.
• Translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product, engineering, and executive teams.
• Maintain alignment between analytics priorities and business objectives across multiple live-service games with over 160 million monthly active players.
• Drive adoption of best practices in data governance, metric definition, and experiment design to ensure consistency and reliability across all game analytics.
• Monitor emerging trends in analytics engineering and AI tooling to continuously improve team capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed data-driven decision-making into product development cycles and business strategy.
• Support the scaling of analytics capabilities as the company grows, ensuring processes remain scalable, repeatable, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain awareness of consumer product KPIs specific to live-service, free-to-play gaming environments, including retention, engagement, and monetization metrics.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning within the analytics team through structured feedback and professional development support.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, with at least 2 years managing or leading an analytics team
• Demonstrated ability to develop analysts at multiple levels, with a track record of raising the quality and impact of a team's output
• Deep expertise in A/B testing and experimentation: hypothesis design, power analysis, statistical significance, and communicating results to non-technical stakeholders
• Advanced SQL skills and fluency across a modern data stack including data warehousing, BI tooling, and analytics engineering
• Strong understanding of consumer product KPIs, particularly retention, engagement, and monetization in a live service or F2P context
• Clear point of view on where AI and automation can improve how an analytics team operates, with experience driving adoption
