📋 Description
- • Own enterprise editorial execution for external and internal communications aligned with Solventum’s brand narrative and strategic priorities
- • Identify and develop editorial opportunities that enhance corporate reputation, establish thought leadership, and improve employee understanding of enterprise priorities
- • Execute public relations activities through earned media and external storytelling, including writing and editing press releases, statements, articles, talking points, and executive messaging
- • Manage incoming media inquiries and support proactive media pitching in collaboration with senior communications leaders
- • Monitor media coverage and external conversations to inform messaging strategy and identify potential reputational risks or opportunities
- • Lead strategy and day-to-day execution of key internal communications channels including intranet, email distribution tools, and video content platforms
- • Create and publish clear, engaging internal communications that translate complex enterprise priorities, external dynamics, and leadership perspectives into accessible content for employees
- • Manage internal editorial planning and cadence to ensure consistency, relevance, and optimal use of communication channels
- • Partner with internal stakeholders to simplify and communicate sensitive or technical topics to employees effectively
- • Develop written and visual content that communicates Solventum’s impact to both internal and external audiences
- • Leverage AI-enabled writing and video tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and storytelling formats across platforms
- • Collaborate with content strategy, social media, and marketing teams to align messaging while maintaining defined role boundaries
- • Partner with external agencies and internal teams to support communications initiatives and execution
- • Support external events and speaking opportunities by developing messaging and preparing spokespersons
- • Ensure all communications comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- • Operate in a fast-paced environment balancing concurrent internal and external communications priorities
- • Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally to support communications initiatives
- • Maintain strict adherence to Solventum’s brand voice and regulatory requirements within the healthcare and medtech sectors
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher
- • Eight or more years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles
- • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex topics
- • Experience managing internal communications channels and editorial processes
- • Experience supporting media relations and external communications in a regulated environment
- • Experience in healthcare, medtech, or similar industries
