• • In this pivotal role, the Manager, IT Audit Services will be instrumental in the execution of the IT audit program, ensuring the delivery of superior, risk-based assurance and advisory services. This individual will be responsible for leading and nurturing the IT audit team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. They will oversee the comprehensive management of complex IT, cybersecurity, and integrated audit engagements, ensuring strict adherence to established audit methodologies and professional standards. A key aspect of the role involves exercising sound professional judgment, proactively identifying and articulating technology-related risks, and cultivating robust partnerships with technology and business leaders. The ability to translate intricate technical issues into clear, understandable business impacts and actionable recommendations is paramount.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the management and execution of the risk-based IT audit plan, ensuring its alignment with the overarching annual audit plan. You will supervise and develop IT audit team members, which includes formal performance management, ongoing coaching, and the thorough review of their work. The role requires overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assurance and advisory engagements, from planning and execution to reporting, including the IT components of integrated audits. A significant focus will be placed on performing and reviewing technology risk assessments, covering a broad spectrum of areas such as IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud environments, the system development lifecycle, change management processes, and third-party/vendor risk management.
• • You will also play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the IT SOX audit program, which involves rigorous testing of the design and operating effectiveness of key IT general controls (ITGCs) and automated application controls. Close collaboration with Financial Controls and other business stakeholders will be essential to ensure comprehensive coverage of technology-dependent business processes and their associated IT general controls. You will work in tandem with audit leadership to integrate IT risks into the broader audit strategy and develop an appropriate integrated audit approach. Reviewing and approving audit programs will be necessary to guarantee their alignment with the company's audit methodology and recognized frameworks like COBIT, NIST, and ISO.
• • Evaluating IT audit findings, determining their severity, assessing root causes, and formulating practical, value-added recommendations will be a core function. You will be responsible for communicating engagement status, emerging risks, and audit results clearly and promptly to management and audit leadership. Coordination with external auditors to facilitate reliance on internal audit work will also be a key responsibility. Ensuring that all audit engagements are completed in strict accordance with departmental quality standards, professional auditing standards, budgets, and timelines is crucial. Furthermore, you will contribute to the annual IT risk assessment process, prepare and review audit reports, and present findings to management. Periodic communication of the status and remediation progress of open audit issues to ERM stakeholders, as well as contributing to Audit Committee materials and reporting, will be expected. Finally, you will actively promote continuous improvement within the audit function, focusing on enhancing audit methodology, tools, and the effective utilization of AI and data analytics.
