  • • Own full accountability for the Networking practice’s profitability, including revenue growth, gross margin, and cost management.
  • • Drive pipeline development and conversion by aligning closely with sales, business development, and partner ecosystems to meet commercial targets.
  • • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including pipeline volume, margin, partner performance, utilisation, and delivery outcomes on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • • Lead, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team comprising Business Development Managers, Partner Managers, and Solution Architects, serving as their direct line manager.
  • • Build and sustain a high-performance culture centred on collaboration, accountability, and execution excellence across the practice.
  • • Define hiring plans and capability development initiatives aligned with the strategic growth objectives of the Networking practice.
  • • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Networking solutions portfolio, ensuring offerings remain relevant, scalable, and profitable.
  • • Drive innovation in networking solutions by translating market trends and customer needs into repeatable, differentiated propositions.
  • • Ensure tight alignment between pre-sales (Solution Architects), Business Development Managers, and delivery teams to create cohesive and compelling customer solutions.
  • • Embed structured go-to-market strategies for all networking solutions to maximise adoption and revenue potential.
  • • Act as the executive owner of strategic vendor relationships within the Networking practice, managing vendor selection, alignment, and performance.
  • • Build and maintain deep relationships with key partners to co-develop joint go-to-market initiatives, expand pipeline, and drive innovation.
  • • Ensure full alignment with partner programmes, certifications, and commercial incentives to optimise mutual success.
  • • Represent the Networking practice in customer engagements, including executive briefings and strategic discussions, acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity trends and transformation.
  • • Articulate SHI’s networking value proposition, industry insights, and innovation agenda to customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • • Collaborate with Sales leadership, Services and Delivery teams, and other Practice Leaders to ensure integrated solutions and maximise market impact.
  • • Contribute to broader organisational strategy and growth initiatives by sharing insights and aligning cross-practice efforts.
  • • Position the Networking practice as a thought leader through executive presentations, industry participation, and external customer engagements.
  • • Balance commercial accountability with technical and operational leadership, focusing on both revenue growth and team capability development.
  • • Travel up to 20% to support customer engagements, partner meetings, and internal alignment activities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • • 3+ years of experience working in a Tier 2 or 3 IT support environment
  • • 1+ years of management experience preferred
  • • Ability to travel up to 20%
