- • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives and sales professionals focused on exhibitor, sponsorship, and attendee sales for PBExpo.
- • Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures for the sales team, conducting regular coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations.
- • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members while partnering with executive leadership to develop and execute revenue growth strategies.
- • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic exhibitor and sponsor accounts through renewals, upselling, and new business acquisition in the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries.
- • Prospect and close new sponsorship, booth, and partnership opportunities by building executive-level relationships with key decision-makers.
- • Conduct strategic account planning sessions and post-event business reviews to maximize client retention and revenue expansion.
- • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting to monitor sales performance and identify process improvement opportunities.
- • Collaborate with marketing, events, and executive leadership to align sales initiatives with broader revenue goals and market demands.
- • Develop scalable, repeatable sales processes that enhance team productivity and improve the client experience across all sales touchpoints.
- • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership to inform strategic decisions and positioning within the aviation events space.
- • Remain actively engaged in key client relationships and revenue generation while balancing strategic leadership responsibilities.
- • Foster a high-performance, results-oriented sales culture that celebrates team successes and drives accountability at all levels.
- • Drive exhibitor, sponsorship, and attendee revenue growth through data-driven decision making and a focus on long-term account development.
- • Support the continued expansion of PBExpo as one of the aviation industry’s premier events by scaling the sales function and building sustainable revenue streams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, sponsorship sales, or trade show/event sales
- • 3+ years of direct people management experience leading sales or account management teams
- • Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- • Proven experience managing both account retention and net-new business development initiatives
- • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities
- • Experience utilizing CRM platforms for forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
