  • • Leads a team responsible for fundraising business readiness at Compassion International by developing and delivering learning solutions, training resources (e.g., videos, job aids, procedures), and quality measures to ensure standardized work across operations.
  • • Supports OCMO, GPE, CVG, and Covenant Partner fundraising needs through training and documentation in key areas including Relationship Management (Church, Influencer, Donor), Business Support Specialists, Trip Leading, marketing operations for mass supporter segments, call center operations, and processing teams.
  • • Provides onboarding, upskilling, Salesforce CRM training, fundraising training, field experience preparation, and readiness support for new projects, processes, and products.
  • • Ensures teams are prepared to adopt, execute, and sustain operational changes by serving as a bridge between strategy, process improvement, technology implementation, and frontline execution.
  • • Oversees readiness strategy, knowledge management, standard work, and sustainment to ensure successful implementation and lasting performance improvements across fundraising and support functions.
  • • Leads readiness planning and execution for new fundraising products, services, technologies, and process changes, developing comprehensive strategies to prepare teams for successful adoption and implementation.
  • • Partners with Operational Excellence, fundraising leaders, technology teams, and project teams to identify operational impacts and readiness requirements prior to launch.
  • • Establishes readiness metrics and monitors adoption outcomes following implementation to evaluate effectiveness and drive adjustments.
  • • Establishes and maintains governance for fundraising documentation, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and knowledge repositories to ensure consistency and quality.
  • • Leads the development and maintenance of standardized work practices that support operational effectiveness and compliance with Compassion’s standards.
  • • Ensures operational documentation remains current, accessible, and aligned with business processes, creating systems that enable frontline staff to quickly access accurate and trusted information.
  • • Promotes documentation standards and best practices across fundraising functions to enhance clarity and reduce variability in execution.
  • • Develops and implements sustainment strategies to ensure process improvements and operational changes remain embedded in day-to-day operations.
  • • Monitors adoption, compliance, performance metrics, and operational effectiveness post-implementation to identify gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • • Partners with Operational Excellence teams to address barriers and refine processes based on frontline feedback and data-driven insights.
  • • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of readiness, documentation, and performance enablement professionals, establishing team goals aligned with Operational Excellence objectives.
  • • Manages departmental budgets, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables based on department objectives, SLAs, and regulatory policies.
  • • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus within the team and across cross-functional partners.
  • • Serves as a strategic partner to fundraising, operations, HR, and technology leaders to align readiness efforts with business priorities and organizational strategies.
  • • Assesses readiness risks and operational impacts, driving adoption of standardized, scalable practices across departments.
  • • Directs the design and delivery of learning solutions that support business, ministry, and operational objectives through data-informed needs assessment and subject matter expertise.
  • • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and consistently upholds Compassion’s Christian mission, demonstrating a Christ-like attitude in all interactions.
  • • Prioritizes child protection in all decision-making, tasks, and activities, abiding by Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct, and reporting any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation through internal channels.
  • • Upholds Compassion’s Cultural Behaviors and actively participates in spiritual growth opportunities including chapel services, prayer groups, and department devotionals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7-10 years of experience in training or development, including applying learning solutions and documenting standard work to support operational readiness of fundraising teams
  • • 3+ years experience leading and managing professional teams
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and/or certification
  • • Demonstrated experience leading operational readiness for large-scale business, technology, or process initiatives
  • • Experience developing and governing documentation, standard work, knowledge management systems, and operational procedures
  • • Experience implementing and sustaining organizational change initiatives
