Full Job Description

šŸ“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle: from the moment an offer is accepted through final offboarding, you will design, document, and continuously refine the processes that make every FiscalNoter feel supported, informed, and valued. You will personally oversee onboarding, internal transfers, and exits, ensuring each touch-point is seamless, compliant, and on-brand.
  • • Serve as the system administrator and power-user for our HRIS (BambooHR, SuccessFactors, Rippling, or similar). You will configure workflows, maintain security roles, audit data integrity, and partner with IT and Payroll to guarantee that every field, report, and integration is accurate and actionable.
  • • Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Operations Coordinators. Through weekly 1:1s, quarterly goal-setting, and real-time feedback, you will build a high-performing unit that delivers white-glove service to employees in the U.S. and abroad while scaling its own capabilities.
  • • Drive the annual performance-management cycle and quarterly engagement surveys. You will project-manage timelines, craft communications, train managers, analyze results, and translate insights into concrete action plans that elevate performance and culture.
  • • Champion process-improvement and automation. Whether it’s reducing onboarding time from five days to three, eliminating duplicate data entry, or launching a self-service knowledge base, you will map current-state workflows, identify pain points, pilot enhancements, and measure ROI.
  • • Ensure iron-clad compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, SOX controls, and internal security standards. You will own employee-record retention, I-9 and E-Verify oversight, and audit responses, partnering with Legal and Risk to keep us ahead of any regulatory curve.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally on people-related projects—M&A integrations, HRIS upgrades, compensation cycles, DEI initiatives, or global expansion. You will translate business requirements into technical specs, manage vendor relationships, and keep stakeholders aligned through clear project charters and weekly status updates.
  • • Generate and socialize people analytics. From headcount dashboards to turnover deep-dives, you will build self-service reports that arm executives, managers, and People Partners with the data they need to make fast, evidence-based decisions.
  • • Curate the employee experience. You will coordinate learning & development programs, wellness campaigns, anniversary recognitions, and ad-hoc events that reinforce our values and make FiscalNote a place where people do the best work of their careers.
  • • Model our cultural values: Know Your Audience, Find the Truth, Drive Alignment, Level Up, Own the Job, Bias for Action, and Support the Family. Your visible commitment to these principles will inspire the same in every employee you touch.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in an operations role and proven people-management experience
  • • Hands-on expertise with HRIS systems such as BambooHR, SuccessFactors, Rippling, or similar platforms
  • • Demonstrated success leading process-improvement and change-management initiatives in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law, employee-record compliance, and regulatory requirements

šŸ–ļø Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary of $110,000–$130,000 plus equity, ensuring every FiscalNoter is an owner
  • • Comprehensive global benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement) tailored to your region
  • • Fully remote-first culture with flexible hours and generous PTO to promote well-being and work-life balance
  • • Career-long learning stipend, leadership development programs, and internal mobility opportunities to keep you growing
