📋 Description

• • Lead and inspire a distributed team of quality engineers who are passionate about delivering flawless digital experiences to more than one million healthcare practitioners worldwide. You will set the strategic vision for quality across web, mobile, and API products, translating business goals into measurable quality objectives and coaching each team member to reach their highest potential.
• • Own the end-to-end quality strategy for Henry Schein’s digital portfolio—from early discovery through production release and post-launch monitoring. You will define test strategies, select tooling, and establish KPIs that balance speed, coverage, and customer satisfaction while ensuring every release meets strict healthcare-grade security, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and regulatory standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• • Architect, implement, and continuously evolve an enterprise-grade test-automation framework that integrates seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Your framework will cover functional, regression, performance, and security testing for Angular/React front ends, containerized micro-services (Docker/Kubernetes), and RESTful APIs running on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• • Drive a shift-left culture by embedding quality engineers into agile squads, participating in sprint planning, story grooming, and three-amigo sessions to ensure requirements are testable and acceptance criteria are precise. You will champion risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous feedback loops that surface defects before they reach customers.
• • Establish and monitor a balanced scorecard of quality metrics—test coverage, defect density, mean time to detect, mean time to resolve, and customer-reported issues—translating data into actionable insights for product and engineering leadership. Monthly executive dashboards and quarterly business reviews will showcase how quality initiatives directly reduce support costs and increase Net Promoter Score.
• • Partner with Product Management, UX, Security, Compliance, and DevOps to prioritize technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and accessibility gaps. You will negotiate scope trade-offs, secure funding for tooling, and influence architectural decisions so that quality is considered at every layer of the stack.
• • Mentor and upskill your team through individualized development plans, technical guilds, brown-bag sessions, and external conferences. You will conduct rigorous code reviews for test scripts, institute best-practice playbooks, and create a safe environment where experimentation and calculated risk-taking are encouraged.
• • Oversee vendor relationships and offshore partners, defining SLAs, SOWs, and quality gates that ensure external deliverables meet Henry Schein standards. Quarterly business reviews and on-site workshops will align distributed teams on shared goals and continuous-improvement roadmaps.
• • Champion accessibility and inclusive design by leading audits, training developers on WCAG guidelines, and integrating automated accessibility checks into the build pipeline. Your advocacy will help ensure that every practitioner—regardless of ability—can efficiently manage patient care through our digital solutions.
• • Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating emerging tools (Cypress, Playwright, k6, Gatling) and methodologies (contract testing, chaos engineering, observability-driven testing). You will run quarterly proof-of-concepts and present recommendations to the Digital Technology steering committee, ensuring Henry Schein remains a leader in healthcare technology excellence.
